A Needham tradition — four years and growing

ICON has hosted International Yoga Day for the last four years, and each gathering has brought more families, friends, and neighbors together outdoors. In 2026 we anticipate about 75 participants sharing an energizing morning of movement, breathing, and community connection.

Bring a mat or towel, dress comfortably, and arrive a few minutes early to settle in. The session is gentle enough for beginners and rewarding for experienced practitioners.

Needham Yoga Club — Saturdays on the green

Needham now has a vibrant Yoga Club that meets Saturday mornings for shared practice. Along with the Book Club and Walk Club, it is one of the Desi Clubs initiated by Shalini Jha that has gained popularity and strengthened community bonding across generations.

Yoga Day is a special annual celebration, but the Saturday club is where many members build a weekly rhythm of wellness together. Newcomers are always welcome — no prior experience required.
