Refund Policy

Please read this policy carefully before purchasing tickets or memberships. By making a purchase, you agree to these terms.
1. Event Ticket Refunds
We understand that plans change. Our refund policy for event tickets is as follows:
7-Day Full Refund Window
For paid events, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided the event is more than 7 days away. This gives you time to review your purchase and make any necessary changes.
3-Day Emergency Window
Within 3 days of an event, refunds are only available for documented emergencies (medical emergencies, family emergencies, or other extenuating circumstances). Documentation may be required.
No Refund Cases
- Refund requests made less than 3 days before the event (without documented emergency)
- No-shows or missed events
- Events that have already occurred
- Tickets transferred to another person (refunds go to original purchaser)
2. Membership Refunds
ICON memberships are annual subscriptions. Our refund policy for memberships is as follows:
- 30-Day Cooling-Off Period: New memberships may be refunded within 30 days of purchase if you have not used any member benefits
- Partial Refunds: After 30 days, memberships are non-refundable but can be cancelled for the next renewal cycle
- Family Membership: If a primary member cancels, associated family memberships will also be cancelled
3. Event Cancellations by ICON
If ICON cancels an event for any reason, you will receive:
- Full Refund: 100% of the ticket price, including any fees
- Automatic Processing: Refunds are processed automatically to the original payment method
- Timeline: Refunds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Contact us at communications@iconeedham.org
- Include your order confirmation number or email address
- Specify the event or membership for which you're requesting a refund
- Provide a brief reason for your refund request
- If requesting an emergency refund within 3 days of an event, include documentation
5. Refund Processing
Once your refund request is approved:
- Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase
- You will receive a confirmation email when the refund is processed
- Stripe processing fees are non-refundable
6. Special Circumstances
We may make exceptions to this policy in special circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Medical emergencies with documentation
- Family emergencies or bereavement
- Severe weather events affecting event attendance
- Other extenuating circumstances at ICON's discretion
7. Ticket Transfers
While we do not offer ticket transfers, you may request to transfer your ticket to another person by contacting us. This is subject to approval and may incur a small processing fee. Refunds are always issued to the original purchaser, not the ticket holder.
