By accessing and using the Indian Community of Needham (ICON) website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement.
2. Membership
ICON memberships are offered on an annual basis. By becoming a member, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Comply with our community guidelines and code of conduct
3. Event Registration
Event registrations and ticket purchases are subject to availability. We reserve the right to cancel or modify events, with full refunds provided for any cancelled events.
4. Payment Terms
All payments for memberships, event tickets, and donations are processed securely through Stripe. Membership fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Harass, abuse, or harm other members
- Post inappropriate or offensive content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
6. Code of Conduct for Community Events
All members and participants in ICON events are expected to adhere to the following Code of Conduct:

- Inclusivity: Welcome everyone regardless of background, identity, or beliefs
- Safety: Ensure the physical and emotional safety of all participants
- Collaboration: Work together to build a vibrant, supportive community
Expected Behavior
- Be considerate of others' time, space, and perspectives
- Listen actively and engage constructively in discussions
- Respect personal boundaries and privacy
- Follow venue rules and event guidelines
- Report any concerns to event organizers promptly
Unacceptable Behavior
- Harassment, discrimination, or hate speech
- Physical or verbal abuse of any kind
- Unauthorized photography or recording of individuals
- Disruption of events or disrespect toward organizers
- Underage alcohol consumption or illegal substance use
Consequences: Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in removal from events, temporary or permanent membership suspension, or other appropriate action as determined by ICON leadership.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and software, is the property of ICON or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright laws.
8. Limitation of Liability
ICON shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website.
