India Day 2026 at Powers Hall

On Saturday, August 15, 2026, ICON welcomes the Needham community to Powers Hall at Town Hall for our annual India Day celebration. The program features the national anthem, cultural performances, guest speakers, a fashion show, art exhibition, kids activities, and local vendors.

We are honored to welcome Ashish Jha as chief guest this year. Entry is free, but seats are limited — registration is required. ICON members may register now; registration opens to non-members starting July 25.

Performers, families, and community guests

India Day brings together flag hoisting, cultural performances, and remarks from community and town leaders. Families dress in festive colors, children perform, and local small businesses often participate.

Everyone is welcome

You do not need Indian heritage to attend. Town officials, school representatives, and neighbors regularly join ICON for India Day, reflecting the inclusive spirit of the celebration.
